Banners Made Easy is an independent desk that judges online banner maker tools — social media banner creators, website and web banner editors, display ad builders, and template libraries — and lays out the winners like posters on a wall.
Why we started
Choosing a banner maker is oddly hard. Every tool claims to be the fastest, the most flexible, and the most template-rich all at once. Marketing pages blur together, review sites bury the useful parts under affiliate buttons, and the free tiers hide their watermarks and export limits until you hit them. We wanted a board that reads like a designer’s notes: clear, opinionated, and grounded in actually building the same banners in every tool.
How we work
We design the same sample banner set in every tool — a leaderboard, a social header, a square post, and a tall skyscraper ad — then score the craft on one shared rubric. Template quality, resizing and auto-reformatting, typographic control, animation and HTML5 output, ad-spec compliance, brand kits, and free-tier limits all count. How we stay independent
Rankings are earned, never bought. No tool can pay for a higher place, a category, or a kinder write-up. When this site later links out to makers, some links may be affiliate links — but they never change how a tool is tested, scored, or tiered. The rubric decides the board; the payouts never do.
